Holy Thursday

Tangled in the Fallen Vine

 

The vine of I AM.

The ax is laid

After wine and bread,

Gethsemane is prayed.

 

Drops of blood,

wine in color

drips through

the branches,

tangled,

disconnected,

fallen.

 

All flee

in

fear

and

despair

as

the vine

clings

to the

trunk

of the tree of life.
