Together in Christ

 

Everyone is unique.

No cause for division.

Called out of the waters,

we’re sent on a mission:

 

Where each gift will flourish

in communities so diverse.

Where all genders, all colors

are honored from birth.

 

The Lord sets the table.

Christ welcomes one and all.

No price for admission

to the divine banquet hall.

 

Christ crosses each boundary,

each barrier we erect.

Love melts hearts of stone

that prefer to reject:

 

Those out on the margins

are now seated first,

the banquet, the feast

for the least of the earth.

 

All walls now will tumble.

All creation will sing.

Embraced by the Christ

at the Divine Wedding.
