Autopsy
Coroner 1 - He died of poison, the experts say,
But they found no proof, no trace.
So we have his body here today
to discover the disgrace.
Coroner 2 - But I heard he was a happy fellow,
a painter of sorts, a poet, professor.
And other reports...
Why? How could he die so young?
Coroner 1 - His outward frame seems very strong.
What’s inside will tell us his story...
Coroner 2 - Look at this, would you!
I don’t believe my eyes --
A heart of thirty that looks like ninety!
He wasn’t that active. The whys?
Coroner 1 - Crushing words, cruelty, abuse.
It doesn’t take much misuse.
Coroner 2 - Need we trace this any further?
Coroner 1 - No, analyze the present tissue.
Coroner 2 - Hmm! Would you say it’s murder?
Coroner 1 - Well, let’s put it this way:
All in all the accomplices would
range in the hundreds, the thousands:
those he met he absorbed their Fall,
their hate, their dark, their rotten ways.
Its not premeditated murder but...
Coroner 2 - But the report! What you say is not
professionally acceptable.
There is no evidence to convict one
person he met.
Coroner 1 - Would ‘overstimulation’ be acceptable?
Coroner 2 - Does that involve us?
Coroner 1 - No!
Coroner 2 - Diagnosis accepted...
