Easter Doxology
(Sung to LM -‘Old
Hundredth’)
Be
present in our lives today,
Raising
the Christ to lead the way.
Grant
justice to the least of these.
Healing
compassion pain will ease.
No
longer bound within a tomb,
Love
everlasting making room
For
outcasts desperate, lonely,
God
gives a gracious destiny.
Breaking
the barriers we create,
God
already initiates
A
new creation formed from Christ
The
Kingdom comes within our lives.
Celebrate
now in God’s new light
A
world without hunger is in sight
Feeding
the thousands Eucharist
We
join God’s presence in our midst.
Praise
God, you are a new body.
Rise
up, Oh Church, and be set free
As
Easter people you live out
Christ’s
resurrection without doubt.
