The Artist’s Imagination
Blank canvas,
marble stone,
open page,
musical tones.
The muse is slow,
oft comes early morn,
or lightening swift
like a sizzling summer storm.
She does not wait
for a written schedule.
Timeless in the moment
she insists on telling you:
Colors, images for the blank canvas.
“Chisel these lines into the stone.”
“Here is your prompt, put pen on page.”
“Play harmonies, yet unknown.”
